Mansion Tour

Welcome to the Hauberg’s Magnificent Mansion. Learn about the family who lived here and the architects for the estate. Learn more about the children growing up here and into adulthood. You will hear about the Mansion’s restoration projects completed, in-process and planned. Tours are offered weekly on Friday at 3:00 PM.
BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR
Hear about the day-to-day activities required to run the Hauberg Mansion in the early 1900’s. Your guide will take you to the basement, the attic, and the staff wing. This tour is available by reservation only, generally at 6 PM.
ARCHITECTURAL & CARRIAGE HOUSE TOUR
Join your guide for an outdoor architectural tour of the historic Hauberg Estate. You will also have the opportunity to tour the newly renovated first floor of the Carriage House. See the Auto House section, the glass breezeway and the beautiful mural in the Carriage House. The Hauberg Stables Gift Shop is open in the Carriage House. This tour is offered in April through October at 6 PM by reservation only and weather permitting.
MECHANICAL TOUR
State-of-the-Art hardware and mechanicals feature the Hauberg Estate in advertisements.
Would you like to know more about the mechanicals of the Hauberg Estate? How is it heated? Has it always had electricity? What about the drainage system on the property? Your tour guide will have all the answers. Tours will be offered on Friday evenings at 6PM by reservation only.
JENS JENSEN
Famous landscape architect Jens Jensen designed the 10-acre, 100- year-old landscape at Hauberg Estate. Jens Jensen day is held annually in the spring where we show a Jens Jensen documentary and offer guided tours. Guided tours are also offered by reservation only, April through October, weather permitting.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Tour through the mansion learning about a day in the life of Catherine and Johnny, the children who grew up in this house. This tour is appropriate for children ages 5-10 and offered Monday through Friday by reservation.
SELF-GUIDED TOUR OF THE GARDENS
For a self-guided tour of the Jens Jensen designed landscape, pick up a tour booklet that includes historic pictures of the Estate and the beautiful grounds. Brochures available in the Mansion between 9AM & 4PM, Monday through Friday.
