Volunteers

We love to share the Hauberg Estate, Mansion and Gardens with visitors.  Every year we see visitors from all around the country. Sharing the magnificent Mansion with visitors allows us to bring the history of the Hauberg family, the renowned architects and artists and the home to life.

Are you interested in becoming a Docent? There’s a terrific Docent training program complete with a guide “How To Become A Great Docent,” an orientation and one-on-one trainee support.  If you’d like to be involved, give us a call at 309-373-5080. We would love to have you join us.

The Hauberg Estate has been very fortunate to be chosen by the United Way of the Quad Cities for participation in their Day of Caring events.  We could not have accomplished many of our projects without these hardworking Volunteers.

College students have carefully and precisely worked to restore the gorgeous carved wood detailed paneling. Tradespeople have lent their specialized skills to bring the mansion to its original glory.

The annual community open house Winter In Bloom is spectacular thanks to the many Volunteers decorating amazing trees, hanging hundreds of feet of garland and floral decor, baking and serving dozens and dozens of cookies and taking family photos for visitors.

Docents and Volunteers have been the backbone of the Friends of Hauberg. If you’re interested in becoming a Docent or Volunteer, please contact us:  Email: director@haubergestate.org.
