Curious By Nature At Hauberg Estate is a nature based children’s program that is free to children K-6 and held at the Hauberg Estate Carriage Haus. Maximum of 20 kids per class. Sign-up below!

Wednesday May 6th, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM - Fairy Wing Workshop
Join us for our Fairy Wing Workshop! Dress like a Garden Fairy and bring your wings! Join us as we flit and flutter through Hauberg's enchanted gardens on a Fairy Scavenger Hunt. Each hidden fairy has a unique ecological message to share with students!

Wednesday May 13th, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM - Pond Study
We will be traversing the Estate to see what tiny creatures are living within the ponds on the Estate. Pond nets and magnifying glasses will be provided for class time, please wear boots.

Wednesday May 20th, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM - Forest Study
We will dive into the forest on the property of Hauberg Estate to learn what is hiding amongst the trees and is beginning to wake up for the spring season. Bug nets and binoculars will be provided for class time and boots are recommended to be worn.

Wednesday May 27th, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM - Rose Garden Rescue
Friends of Hauberg Civic Center Foundation invites parents to register their kids for a historic moment for our May 27th, 2026 session of our Curious By Nature programming. From 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM join Heather Culver and other volunteers to help plant perennial flowers in the area of the Formal Rose Garden. Flowers, gloves, and tools will be provided for the class. Afterwards, students will receive an invitation to the ribbon cutting ceremony once the garden is complete.
